Nestling around a cobbled courtyard, the restored mill buildings house an ancient working flour mill and a modern hydro-electric system, as well as two art galleries, a pottery, a fashion studio and workshop, a picture framer, a tea and dining room, a cheesemonger, a micro brewery, a gift shop and the Miller's garden. This ancient watermill, dating from 1340, was rescued from dereliction by local volunteers, through a ten-year restoration project completed in 2001. Today, the Town Mill remains in full working order and its day to day operations continue to be run by volunteers |

BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT THE MILL The
Town Mill Trust is a charity that relies almost wholly on volunteers to keep
it running and to foster its growth. So we always welcome new volunteers to
help in the watermill, the mill gift shop, our garden and our art galleries. |
