The Mill Site | |||||
|
The Town Mill site houses a large complex of buildings grouped around a central cobbled courtyard. The watermill, mill gift shop, two art galleries and garden are all run by volunteers. In addition, there are six tenanted businesses - a pottery, a knitwear studio, an art framing studio, a tea and dining room, a cheesemonger and a microbrewery. As a result, opening times vary across the site as detailed below. |

Come and watch the waterwheel turn as we produce our own stone-ground flour from grain grown organically a few miles along the coast at Tamarisk Farm. A volunteer miller is always on hand to provide informed guidance through the mill. The hydro-electric system can also be seen in the watermill.
Entrance to the mill is through
the Mill Gift Shop. Our freshly ground flour is available in the shop, where
you can also find a
carefully selected range of attractive gifts |
