		ROOM HIRE AT THE MILL - THE MALTHOUSE

		The Function Room in the refurbished Malthouse, is a large, bright meeting and function room directly opposite the Miller's house. It easily accommodates 60 people and is available for hire for large meetings, weddings, exhibitions and other events. It is well positioned both in the bustling Town Mill complex and within the heart of Lyme Regis, where the main shopping areas are just five minutes walk away. The Town Mill complex is centred on a cobbled courtyard and houses a working watermill, a hydro-electric system, two art galleries, a pottery, a picture framer, a fashion studio, a mill gift shop and the miller's garden. Food and drink is available on site in our all-day café/dining room, at our cheesemonger's shop and in our micro brewery.



Hire Charges. The cost of hiring the Function Room varies between £60 - £100 per day, depending on whether the booking is for a community charity event or for private use. All hire charges incur VAT, which will be added to the above rates. Access. The Function Room in the Malthouse is located on the ground floor, with easy wheelchair access.



		Typical Uses. Since its opening in 2010, the Malthouse Function Room has proved to be a very popular venue for a host of local charity and trust meetings. It has also been hired privately for singing workshops, art exhibitions, craft markets, wedding receptions and private meetings. Enquiries and Bookings.
