The Community Room is a mid-sized meeting room on the first floor of the Miller's house. It has seating for up to 35 people and is available for hire for meetings, lectures, craft classes and other functions. It is well positioned both in the bustling Town Mill complex and within the heart of Lyme Regis, where the main shopping areas are just five minutes walk away. The Town Mill complex is centred on a cobbled courtyard and houses a working watermill, a hydro-electric system, two art galleries, a pottery, a picture framer, a knitwear studio, a mill gift shop and a miller's garden. Food and drink is available on site in our all-day café/dining room, at our cheesemonger's and in our micro brewery. |

Hire Charges. The Community Room is available for hire on an hourly,
half-day or full-day
basis. The current charges are: £5 hourly, £15 half-day (3 hours), £30 full-day. All hire charges incur VAT at 17.5%, which will be added to the above rates. Capacity. The Community Room extends across the full width of the first floor of the Miller's House. It can accommodate 35 people seated in rows for lectures/talks, or 16 people seated around a block of six tables for meetings/craft work. |

Limited Access.
Please note that
there is no wheelchair access to the Community Room as it is
located on the first floor and is reached via a short but winding
flight of stairs. However, the Function Room in the Malthouse
opposite is on the ground floor, has excellent wheelchair access,
and is also available for hire.
