Alchemy Workshop – with Julie Oldfield SWA

We are delighted to be working with re-known local artist Julie Oldfield to offer a 1-day workshop in The Malthouse Gallery at The Town Mill, Lyme Regis

The day will include beach sketching and collection of site-specific materials for use in your own work during the day, with the sky, sea and shore providing the inspiration. 

Julie will demonstrate her own techniques back in the gallery and will guide you through a range of the unconventional materials she uses in her work to evoke her unique style – with everyone having the opportunity to use both a full canvas as well as small samples of copper experimentally.

Enjoy a light and leisurely lunch in Strawberry Tree restaurant here at the mill – one of Lyme’s top eateries who we are delighted to share the mill space with.
