We are milling and have plenty of grain to fulfill the demands of Lyme Regis residence.
At the moment it is taking longer to mill and bag as our dedicated volunteer team who normally support us following government guidelines are not operational at the moment.

Flour is also available from the butchers in Lyme Regis high street Monday – Saturday.

Butchers will also deliver flour if delivering a meat order.

Courtyard Cafe and Lyme Regis Brewery is now selling flour as the mill is closed.

Our Flour sales will help to support the charity at this difficult time.

Town Mill artisan flour is unique in more ways than one.  Milled by hand in our mediaeval watermill, each batch of grain is carefully processed by one of our volunteer community, who has been trained to follow a traditional stoneground milling method.

You can purchase our delicious flour in our shop. as well as a range of baking kits.  Whichever bag of flour you choose to buy, you can be sure that your purchase directly benefits our charitable trust, which keeps the historic Town Mill running.  We are sure you’ll enjoy the experience as much as we do.

The Town Mill Flour product range currently includes:

Wheat, using strong Maris Widgeon heritage grain grown locally at Tamarisk Farm in West Bexington, Dorset (behind Chesil Beach)

Rye, also from cereal organically grown at Tamarisk Farm.  This low-in gluten, highly flavoured grain is excellent for people who have an intolerance to wheat.

Spelt, using grain from the organic estate Sharpham park near Glastonbury on the Somerset levels, where spelt has been grown since the Bronze and Iron ages.
