Private Mill Tours available for groups FREE ENTRY NOVEMBER – MARCH (donations welcome)

For groups, we can offer a private, guided tour with one of our knowledgeable volunteer millers.

Your tour will include:

*A visit all three floors inside the Mill, guided by a miller – The Stone Floor, Sack Floor & Meal Floor

*A miller will talk to you about the history, restoration and present day working of the Mill

*See the working water wheel in action!

*A miller will demonstrate the milling process and show you how flour is made – the traditional stoneground way (subject to availability)

*Get hands on at some of our interactive points including raising a sack hoist and milling grain.

Group Tours last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

Prices:

November to March – Free of charge (donations welcome)

April to October – we are able to close the Mill for a private group, depending on numbers and timings and there would be a nominal charge for us to do this – please contact us for further information.

We offer private viewing for groups at no cost November through to March (excludes the easter holidays), we do ask for donations from your group to help us to keep our mill open and running. We also have a shop selling our own, milled flour and many baking kits and bits and pieces. All purchases go back to keeping our site open.
