Volunteer Stock Assistants Required

We have volunteering positions available for Stock Assistants at The Town Mill, situated in the heart of Lyme Regis. A fantastic opportunity to be a part of a friendly, welcoming team of volunteers who give their time to keep our historic Watermill open for visitors to enjoy!

The Town Mill Trust is a small charity and relies predominantly on donations made when visiting the Mill and flour sales from our Town Mill shop.

The Town Mill Shop is a lovely area, selling our Rye, Wheat and Spelt flour which is milled on site by our volunteer millers. Alongside this we have a selection of gifts and baking kits for customers to purchase.

Tasks and activities include:

• Bagging packs of our flour
• Labelling products
• Making up baking kits
• Attaching gift tags
• Adding prices to gift packs

Stock days are Wednesdays and Fridays from 1030am til 130pm, you can choose the days and frequency to suit you and we can be very flexible with the time you can give.

No experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm! We will provide full training and our experienced volunteers will be on hand at all times while you are learning, there are opportunities to get involved in other areas at The Town Mill if you would like to learn more.
